Face-Lit refers to the principle of light shining through the front — LEDs are installed inside the raised metal letterbox, shining through a translucent acrylic face covered with a color sticker according to the CI. This makes the entire letter glow brightly at night and readable from a distance during the day.
Face-Lit Channel Letters are the most popular type of illuminated sign for storefronts, building facades, and company signs. This is because they provide full illumination of the letter area and are clearly visible from a distance. Unlike Halo-Lit signs, which only produce a glowing halo around the letters, Face-Lit signs emphasize the letters themselves glowing brightly, making them suitable for brands that require high visibility and clear messaging.

We then apply color using 3M 3630 or MACtac translucent vinyl, die-cut to the logo's design, allowing light to pass through only where desired.
LED Lighting System Suitable for Face-Lit Signs
Face-Lit signs use 12V SMD 2835 LED strips installed inside the letterbox. The optimal distance from the LED to the acrylic face is 5–8 cm for even light distribution without visible individual LEDs. Color Temperature can be chosen according to the brand's mood: Warm White 3000K for restaurants and cafes, Cool White 4000K for general corporate and retail, Daylight 6500K for maximum brightness. For projects requiring a distinctly cool blue tone, Cold White 8000K+ is also available.

No, you don't. We design our signs so that the internal LED strips are accessible by removing the acrylic face. You can replace only the faulty strip, or in some cases, simply replace a faulty driver. There's no need to dismantle the entire sign.
Yes, we can. We print stickers using UV inkjet printers that are color-profiled to match your specified Pantone, RGB, or CMYK colors. For special or metallic colors, send us the Pantone Code or a sample of your CI color, and we will match it as closely as possible.
