Types of Plaswood Sheets
Plaswood sheets' properties allow them to be categorized into 3 types based on their hardness:
- PVC Standard Foam with a thickness of no more than 10 mm has a softer surface that is not very rigid. The sheet is quite flexible, used for decoration, and making economical flat signs where high impact resistance is not required, such as indoor wall signs.
- PVC Co-Extrusion Foam sheets are stronger than PVC Standard Foam. They can be carved into desired shapes. The material is hard and does not warp. It can be used for semi-outdoor applications, is resistant to sun and rain, and does not swell when wet.
- PVC Celuka Foam sheets are the strongest among the three types mentioned. They can withstand impacts and heavy loads well, making them suitable for outdoor signs, resistant to sun, rain, and Thailand's weather conditions. This is the most durable type of Plaswood, suitable for heavy-duty applications.
