A Future Board Photo Backdrop (Future Board / PP Board) is a temporary backdrop that functions like a standard backdrop sign but is lighter and more cost-effective. It is ideal for events, exhibitions and photo props that require flexibility and easy transportation. It can be produced in several smaller panels and assembled into a large backdrop. Additional elements such as die-cut graphics, speech signs and stand-up props can also be added to create visual interest.

Because most backdrops are made from several joined panels, an overlap joint should be used between panels to conceal the joint and improve structural strength.
Overlap Allowance: 10–20 mm per side, depending on the board thickness and mounting surface.
Overlap Direction: Place the front panel over the joint from the camera or audience viewing direction so the seam is less noticeable.
Safe Zone: Keep logos and important text at least 20–30 mm away from panel joints.
Fixing Method: Use acrylic foam double-sided tape or nano gel tape, with masking tape for temporary alignment. Additional posts or supports are recommended for rough surfaces.
Extra-Large Panels: Divide the artwork into 2–3 panels with vertical overlaps to reduce warping.
Artwork Tip: Design the artwork so panel joints follow graphic lines or solid-colour areas. Use a simple background and place key graphics selectively to make seams less visible.

Use 5–20 mm spacing between layers to create shadows and an immediate 3D effect.
